Multifaceted support for artists through one art ecosystem.

Kinhouse

Kin, community, and contemporary art.

An artist run gallery and studios right in the heart of the bustling Broadway Arts District.

A residency space to find rest, care, and plenty of space for art-making

Kinhouse Artist Residency is a space created for emerging and established artists hosted in Fort Wayne, IN. Artists can apply for a solo residency, to bring their families, or as a group of 2-3 artists.

Kinhouse is an artist-run contemporary exhibition space and artist residency in Fort Wayne, Indiana, created for artists, by artists. Our gallery and two working studios, home to the practices of Kaylan Buteyn and Dana Caldera, are housed in an 1892 building on Broadway, near the historic West Central neighborhood. Our residency program takes place just a short distance away in the Illsley Place–West Rudisill Historic District, where visiting artists have time, space, and community to develop new work. Together, these spaces offer multifaceted support for artists through one art ecosystem, strengthening Fort Wayne's art community and bringing artists from across the country to the city.
