Kinhouse Gallery, founded in 2024, is an artist-run exhibition space that champions women artists, creates exhibition opportunities for emerging and established artists, works in collaboration with Kinhouse Artist Residency, and brings contemporary art and artists to engage with our community in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Gallery Director, Kaylan Buteyn
Kaylan Buteyn’s work investigates physical representations of generational care through paintings, quilts, domestic textiles, abstraction and collage. She has exhibited in galleries and community spaces internationally including the Ground Floor Gallery in Nashville, TN, Artlink in Fort Wayne, IN, Split Milk in Edinburgh, Scotland, among others. Kaylan maintains an active social extension to her art practice through initiatives she founded, including the Artist/Mother Podcast and the Thrive Together Network. From 2020-2023, Kaylan co-founded Stay Home Gallery with Pam Taylor in rural TN. Today, Kinhouse Gallery and Residency is modeled after that work. Kaylan holds an MFA from the New Hampshire Institute of Art. She now lives with her partner and their 3 children in Fort Wayne, IN.
Gallery Director, Dana Caldera
Dana Caldera is a mixed-media visual artist. Her pieces combine found collage material, handmade paper, textiles, painting, and drawing into intricately layered compositions. Caldera has had recent group shows at Flatland Gallery (Houston) and Site:Brooklyn Gallery (Online) and a recent solo show at Box13 Art Space (Houston). She is a recipient of grants from the Wendy Wagner Foundation, the City of Houston, and Indiana Arts Commission. Residencies include Atelierhaus Hilmsen and the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston’s CAMHLAB. Her work has been published in Photo Trouvée Magazine and books: Collage Care: Transforming Emotions and Life Experiences with Collage and Echoes of Yesterday. Her artwork can be found in public and corporate collections including Sweetgreen and The Doug and Laurie Kanyer Art Collection.
