Open Call for Exhibition Proposals
Kinhouse seeks to support emerging and mid-career artists with this meaningful opportunity to facilitate their own art exhibition in our space! We welcome proposals for solo or small group exhibitions, collaborations, artist collectives or groups, performances, installations, and site-specific artwork. Exhibitions will be considered for our 2026 programming year and we will select between 2-6 proposals. Each selected exhibition proposal will be awarded a stipend of $250 for the artist(s) to use at their discretion.
Curators are also welcome to submit proposals for our space! Proposals are never final but we consider strong proposals to have a clear vision, statement, compelling visuals and consideration towards diversity and inclusion.

We encourage selected applicants to book a residency week during installation for their exhibition, though it is not required. Residencies will be offered at a subsidized rate for all selected participants. Our residency is a 3 bedroom home with detached studio. Please see more pictures here. You are welcome to bring your family or other artists to share the residency space with. While we are a family friendly residency, we do not provide childcare for children you bring with you.
